Hello, my name is Miranda. Welcome to my travel blog!

I am a graduate of a small, private University in a tiny town in Kansas.

I could go on about my interests and hobbies, but there’s really only one thing you need to know about me- I am a dreamer. And for a long time I have dreamt of traveling the world.

Two years ago, I decided to make my dreams of traveling the world a reality. So, I packed up my life in one suitcase and moved to Grantham, England for my Spring 2017 semester. There, I studied at the beautiful Harlaxton Manor and spent my three-day weekends traveling the world. It was the most amazing, life-changing opportunity, that sparked an even bigger passion for travel.

Following my semester abroad, I applied for a summer program abroad (because there was no way my travels were ending there) and was so fortunate to spend Summer 2018 studying Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Although I have spent most of my 23 years on this earth smack dab in the middle of the United States, my parents have blessed my sisters and I with many opportunities throughout my lifetime to travel to beautiful places, have unbelievable experiences, and create amazing memories. In other words, they gave me the travel bug and caused me to fall in love with seeing new places and trying new things.

Whether it’s a new coffee shop down the street, or visiting a new country, I am determined to take advantage of every opportunity I have to visit somewhere new.

There are many perks to being a dreamer, so long as you follow them.

I am about to follow mine, and you can come along for the ride.

“Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ― Mark Twain
